This position supports K-12 extracurricular programs and summer camps for the Padnos College of Engineering (PCE). This role provides leadership to all areas in the program, along with supervision of Professional Support Staff (PSS), and graduate and undergraduate students.
Salary & Benefits:
Minimum starting salary of $53,000, commensurate with experience

Primary Duties:
Provide leadership for Padnos College of Engineering (PCE) K - 12 outreach programs including the Science Technology and Engineering Preview Summer (STEPS) camp. Serve as main contact for the College of Engineering regarding involvement in FIRST Robotics including coordinating the practice field, communicating with FIRST in Michigan, and supporting off-season events and the regional competition at the Fieldhouse. Supervision of PSS and graduate and undergraduate students. Perform other duties as required/assigned by leadership.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of one (1) year of demonstrated higher education work.
• Experience in K-12 outreach in Engineering and /or Occupational Safety and Health.
• Demonstrated ability to work with external funding sources.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Master's degree in engineering, occupational safety and health, or a related field.
• Able to organize and lead summer camps.
Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Some travel may be required.
