Job Title: Part-Time Banquet Staff

Location: Villa Bar & Banquet
Reports To: Banquet Manager / Event Coordinator


Position Summary:

The Part-Time Banquet Staff plays a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences during events, including weddings, corporate functions, private parties, and special celebrations. This position involves assisting with event setup, service, and breakdown while maintaining high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, including tables, chairs, linens, décor, and audiovisual equipment as needed.

  • Provide professional, friendly, and attentive service to all guests during events.

  • Serve food and beverages according to event plans and service standards.

  • Clear tables, reset service areas, and ensure the venue remains clean and organized throughout the event.

  • Support the banquet captain or event coordinator in ensuring events run smoothly and on schedule.

  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

  • Assist with post-event cleanup and resetting the space for the next event.

  • Represent Villa Bar & Banquet with a positive, team-oriented attitude and maintain a professional appearance at all times.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or event service preferred, but not required.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.

  • Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to assist wherever needed.


Schedule & Compensation:

  • Part-time, flexible hours based on event schedule.

  • Primarily evenings and weekends.
