Salary: $75,000 - $80,000

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director of Career Services to lead our efforts in developing and implementing comprehensive Career Services initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with students, faculty, and external partners to enhance career opportunities, internships, and professional development resources. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving student retention, graduation rates, and successful career placements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement university-wide policies and processes to enhance career services and employment opportunities.
• Hire, train, and mentor a dedicated team of career services professionals.
• Serve as the CRM liaison, ensuring effective use of platforms like Handshake, Quinncia, and PathwayU to optimize student engagement.
• Oversee all components of career services platforms and ensure a seamless user experience for students and employers.
• Monitor and report on key metrics, establishing goals related to employment and experiential opportunities for graduates.
• Foster strong relationships with industry partners to create robust internship and job placement opportunities.
• Produce engaging events that promote career development and support the Career Services Foundation fund.
• Provide exceptional customer service to students, anticipating and exceeding their needs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in business, student personnel services, or related fields.
• At least five years of leadership experience in career services.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across campus.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with information technology in career services, including data systems for tracking and reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a commitment to confidentiality.
• A passion for fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment.
